Hi, I’m Alexis, an author, editor, and freelance journalist. I graduated from a Book & Magazine publishing course this past June. I’d love to work with you on your manuscript. My developmental edit comes with, in line comments and a 2-4 page edit letter. I’ll focus on pacing, voice, structure, continuity, dialogue, and character arcs. I also like to know what you want feedback on the most so I can pay extra attention to that aspect.

I’m not interested in critiquing poetry, historical fiction, or literary fiction just because I don’t have a ton of experience and don’t think I have good insight to offer in these genres. I am also not interested in anything that was written with the assistance of AI.
